Description
“Full Day Intermediate Clinic '' is a full day clinic for intermediate riders looking to advance their technical climbing and switchbacks skills. The first 3 hours of the clinic are held at Rowdy Ryder Academy and will cover skills used to teach a rider how to navigate rocks, roots, and water bars while climbing. Participants can expect to review body positioning and bike/body separation, specific to learning how and when to weight each end of the bike to smoothly get over obstacles while climbing. Participants will learn wheel lifts, pedal timing techniques, and how to get up and out of the saddle to get over obstacles. We will also cover skills to help find better balance on the bike, with specific drills to help improve your body position while navigating tight and steep downhill switchbacks with confidence. After the skills clinic, we will all head to downtown Golden (parking near the Golden library) where we will pedal to the Chimney Gulch trail, and session some uphill features on the first half mile of the climb, and then session the downhill switchbacks. We will be on trail for 2 hours. The clinic begins at Rowdy Ryder Academy in West Arvada- 15625 W 82nd Ave Arvada, CO 80007. Use this address to try to find parking near Golden library/tennis courts (1019 10th St, Golden, CO 80401).) Class size is limited to 6 riders, at $200 per person. Time: 8-11am at Rowdy Ryder Academy then 12-2pm at Chimney Gulch trail Minimum of 3 registrations required for clinic to be held, 24 hours prior to clinic start or clinic MAY be canceled.

Cancellation Policy
Private lessons and small group daily clinics, you may cancel your lesson up to 72 hours before the lesson begins and request to receive a full refund. If cancelation is made 12-72 hours, you will receive a credit to reschedule at a later date. Credit must be used within 90 days. Day of cancellations/those made within 12 hours will not be refunded or rescheduled. For 3 week courses, you may cancel your registration up to 2 weeks before the start date, to receive a refund. If cancelation is made within this time frame, you will receive a credit to participate in the next clinic session. Credit must be used within 90 days. All refunds will be processed minus a 3% + $0.30 processing fee to cover transaction and administrative costs.
