Intro to MTB Series Clinic-Sept Session

Description

Join Coach Tina for this 3 week clinic made specifically for the beginner mountain biker. During the clinic, you'll learn fundamental skills such as proper body position, the "ready" positions, bike/body separation, shifting gears, braking, and cornering. Other skills that will be covered include navigating switchbacks, rock dodging, climbing and descending, rock roll downs, how to perform a pre-ride bike check, what you should take with you during rides, and how often to maintain or service your bike. The clinic format is as follows: the first session of the week you'll learn and practice fundamental skills that build upon each other each week- clinic held at Rowdy Ryder Ranch in West Arvada. The second session, we will go to a different trail system each week to execute the skills learned and session features or obstacles. You'll also be given "homework" each week that will be reviewed the following week! September session schedule (5:00-7:00pm each session): Week 1: Tuesday, September 5th at RRR and Wednesday, September 6th at South Table Mountain Week 2: Monday, September 11th at RRR and Wednesday, September 13th at Green Mountain Week 3: Monday, September 18th at RRR and Wednesday, September 20th at North Table Mountain Note: If weather cancels a session, it will be rescheduled for the following day. **No refunds for any missed sessions, sorry!

Cancellation Policy

Private lessons and small group daily clinics, you may cancel your lesson up to 72 hours before the lesson begins and request to receive a full refund. If cancelation is made 12-72 hours, you will receive a credit to reschedule at a later date. Credit must be used within 90 days. Day of cancellations/those made within 12 hours will not be refunded or rescheduled. The 3 week "Intro to Mountain Biking", and Kids and Youth Clinics, you may cancel your registration up to 2 weeks before the start date, to receive a full refund. If cancelation is made within this time frame, you will receive a credit to participate in the next clinic session. Credit must be used within 90 days.
