Join Rowdy Ryder Academy's most popular clinic that sells out FAST!! This 3 week clinic is made specifically for the beginner mountain biker and women only. During the clinic, you'll learn fundamental skills such as proper body position, the "ready" positions, bike/body separation, shifting gears, braking, and cornering. Other skills that will be covered include navigating switchbacks, proper climbing and descending positions, rock roll downs, how to perform a pre-ride bike check, what you should take with you during rides, and how often to maintain or service your bike. You are also guaranteed to make friends and find your new riding buddies to further grow as a mountain biker! The clinic format is as follows: the first session of the week you'll learn and practice fundamental skills that build upon each other each week- clinic held at Bergen Meadow School field in Evergreen. The second session, we will go to the trails each week to execute the skills learned and session features or obstacles. **Coach Kate Clement will be teaching this course. MAY schedule (5:00-7:00pm each session): Week 1: Tuesday, May 5th at Bergen Meadow School and Thursday, May 7th at Elk Meadow Week 2: Tuesday, May 12th at Bergen Meadow School and Thursday, May 14th at Elk Meadow Week 3: Tuesday, May19th at Bergen Meadow School and Thursday, May 21st at Three Sisters (new west trailhead lot) **No refunds for any missed sessions, or cancellations due to weather! In weather situations, we will do our best to reschedule.

Cancellation Policy
Rowdy Ryder Academy is a one-woman show—every lesson, clinic, and event is personally scheduled, coached, and managed by me. Coordinating sessions, managing rosters, and preparing for each rider takes a great deal of time and behind-the-scenes effort. If you need to cancel your registration, the following policy applies: Cancellations made 7 or more days before your scheduled clinic/lesson date will receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee, and are also eligible for rescheduling at a later date. Cancellations made within 7 days of the clinic/lesson, or if you are a “no-show,” are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling. Weather Policy: Due to Colorado’s unpredictable weather, decisions about weather-related cancellations will only be made the day of the clinic- 5 hours prior to evening clinics, and 2 hours prior to morning clinics. Skills sessions held at RRA will still run in light rain, as long as no active thunderstorms or lightning are nearby and trail conditions are acceptable, if used during that clinic. If unsafe conditions require a cancellation, you will be offered a reschedule or credit. I truly appreciate your understanding and respect for the time and energy that goes into making every Rowdy Ryder Academy experience an awesome one!
